Pattaya City Appoints 36 New Executive Officials to Strengthen Administration

PATTAYA: Pattaya City has appointed 36 new personnel to vacant executive-level positions, with the appointments taking effect on September 21st, 2026.

The ceremony was attended by the Secretary to the Mayor of Pattaya City, the Assistant Secretary to the Mayor, the Advisor to the Mayor, the Assistant Secretary to the President of the Pattaya City Council, and heads of government departments, who joined to honor the appointees and offer congratulations.

The appointments follow vacancies in the city’s executive ranks identified under its three-year manpower plan. Pattaya City reported the openings to the Central Committee for Local Government Officials Examination for recruitment. A total of 58 positions have been submitted for recruitment.

In the first round of the completed selection process, 36 candidates passed and reported to choose their preferred positions. The Pattaya City Personnel Committee approved the appointments at its 9/2569 meeting on September 18, 2026. Official appointment orders were subsequently issued, effective September 21, 2026.

Mayor Poramese Ngampichet addressed the newly appointed officials, stressing the need to perform their duties with responsibility, uphold good governance, work professionally, and integrate cooperation across agencies. He said this would ensure unified administration and allow the city to respond more efficiently to residents’ needs.

City officials described the appointments as a move to strengthen Pattaya’s executive workforce, improve administrative efficiency at all levels, and support concrete progress toward the city’s development goals for the benefit of residents.
